Any love for high powered pens? Black jayrob style 1W+ 445 pen added...Actually should be more like 1300mW according to power charts, but I sold my LPM so IDK exact power.

The red drop 2V, blue and green drop 3.5V.
All run at 8.1A continuous, or up to 13.5A
pulsed.

Well thanks to a kind person on PL, I realize that the going price of these has dropped very recently. Therefore I am dropping the prices here as well.

Stuff arrived today. Thanks for the lens too. Was able to get the switch to work better.
I did test it real quick.
3-element 1068mW
O-like G or whatever we are calling them 1225mW
20mW on a single 18650

I have been real tempted to do that a few times. Some people don't know common courtesy, like not blinding the person driving in front of you.

These pt 54 leds are pure insanity, got a red one from dtr a while ago, I tested it by direct driving it off an 18650 then accidentally caught a glimpse of the emitter and learned not to do that again...

Gonna put it in a C8 host and load the pill with copper coins to get a chance at running it for more than 10 seconds, then put a big aspheric on the end

They are acrylic and cant be used. Well, I suppose you could, if you wanted a melty, fiery mess and a ruined diode

Get some from aixiz. They are labeled as "AR coated lens" and are basically G lenses but for cheap.

Thanks wanted to be sure I have a couple lenses already just double checking. How are they used in the projector without melting? Are they run at 20% or something

Those arent the lenses from the projector, they (the acrylics) come with the 12mm modules from DTR. The lenses in the projectors aren't aspheric so they cant be used for collimating.
