http://sales.stonetek.org sells Sony 16x diodes. SenKat (an ex member) made a name for himself with them.

I can build you a red laser in a housing for $125, or one with a TEC and a metal case for $175. Both have warranties (3 and 6 months for cheap and pro respectively)
Details on the metal one at here. I will post the cheaper one there shortly too. EDIT: done.
I also sell drivers, there is a link in my thread, I'm doing a GB for them. :)

Hey just noticed you posted in my thread too :) howdy mate. Since your a fellow Aussie you can have my $125 ( red laser for $125 AUD instead of USD... save ya $25 or so. (or the same for the $175 one)

Some more details on it: Takes 4x AA batteries, internal passive heatsinking, typically ~185mW. ngiapy recently bought one and should be receiving it soon. I now offer a 3 month warranty (all purchased from now on)
Details on the metal one: Takes 5 to 12v input, as well as 0-5v for modulation up to 200khz. Modulation cancel switch for continuous full power operation. TEC (ThermoElectric Cooler) cooled and regulated for efficiency and performance.

If you wait a couple weeks, my power meter will arrive and I can certify its power for free (computer generated certificate for ya with graphs and all)

By the way, if you have any other lasers you want tested you can post them to me and paypal me for return shipping and I'll test and provide a cert for free. This applies to anyone in Australia (anywhere really, but .au is less shipping)

What if you get me all the parts i need and i wack it into a box? Hook me up with a burner diode, driver and ill put it together. I had one before was running of 4xaa batteries which were flat. I bought brand new 4xaaa batteries and it fried it. So really what im after is a diode and considering you can also offer drivers ill try to build one my self. if i fail again then i wont hesitate in getting u to make me one coz then il be OVER IT lol.

Oh i bought a diode from stonetek around 3rd jan, waiting for it to arrive. My old diode was from a liteon dvd burner.

OK, I can do a bundle of box + driver + diode + diode housing for, say, $60? That's pretty much the cost of the parts plus my time to go get them all and build the driver. Oh, that by the way. I can build you a driver that works, which will be faster than my GB one, or you can wait for my GB one which will be smaller and more efficient.

How much for the diode+house+driver? Is it an aixiz housing? Is this the same driver as your GB?

LOL, spe ctraforum turns into X... thats why I used TinyURL
yobresal, it won't be; that's a placeholder item. It was a vague price I put in cos it needed a price.
By the way, I only sell the lasers under BlueFusion's Lasers. Ben handles the S-KY ones.
Sarge, yes, mini Aixiz cos i prefer them to the big ones. if you dont wat the box, knock off $10.

As I'm not building anything, no, I won't provide a warranty. Think about it. Why would I provide a warranty on DIY parts that you could easily kill while assembling? :p

I think blue can guarantee it free from defects when it gets to you, but past that....

If the parts you give me are guranteed to work with each other then there should never be a problem. Ive added u on MSN, im highly considering buying the stuff off you.

Normally I would agree except for the diode. If you are not careful you can easily ruin it. SenKat doesn't guarantee his diodes, and if I was selling them I would not guarantee them either.

He could guarantee you they will arrive working, but as soon as you apply power to them the guarantee is void (Kinda doesn't make sense).

I can guarantee it will work as long as you dont do anything silly... but not even that. I can guarantee that it should work as long as the diode survives but I can't promise the diode's not dead.
