I sold it quite a while ago...

As such I can't offer any qualitative information about this laser.

I would recommend using a middle man though, and if anyone wants I'll act as one, but shipping from me would need to be covered.

Yes, please post a clear and good quality video of it in action, as well as showing the condition of the host.

Nothing has changed with it works in my opinion better than the last one. you don't have to wait for it to warm up at all. Still has the same battery and everything.

A video and pictures would help you a great deal.

I'd have to go through files but IIRC it peaked at ~100mW.

In terms or behavioral issues... the laser was heavily used by me. I noticed that past ~40 seconds it would fluctuate in power a lot, so recommended a strict <30 second duty cycle.

EDIT: This is not a laser from SKYLASERS. It is simply labeled A SKY on the side, I don't remember which site it was from, but it was a dropshipper site.

Ok considering its 1 AM here I'll make the video 2morrow imma try to get yall's names in there so u know its me but i might just put them on a piece of paper cause i have no idea how to pronounce them.

Thanks! I updated my post (again, heh).

I'm still interested in the laser, but I'll need to see video of it before pulling the trigger. I would very much appreciate it if you'd act as middleman, Infinitus. I'll certainly cover your end of shipping.

Again, it is in your best interest to show a well made video of the laser. =)

Ya, that sounds fine, no rush on the vid, I'm not going anywhere.

Hey,

So I finally tested out the laser to my liking. I used and AW IMR 16340... these are top of the line, $7 a piece before shipping batteries: link.

I did two tests, and a just a lot of on off/observations. The higher peak was 108mW, the lower 106mW. The laser peaks when first turned on, and then starts to drop off after about 30 seconds at a rate of about 1mW/second, so ideally I suggest keeping to 20 seconds on, 30 seconds off for duty cycle.

It does show some pocket wear, the same as the other one.

The laser will come with a fully charged battery, but not the AW battery, if you want the AW it will be $6 more.

So it's $35 plus shipping, which with Priority and delivery confirmation comes to $42.

Same as with the other laser I'll make sure it gets to you safe and sound, and working, but after that I can't offer any guarantee.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll get it packed up:) If you send me payment today or tomorrow I'll get it out to you friday:D

That's the original PM from me in response to Bata about the laser. Edited only to exclude personal info.

Obviously how the laser looks and works could be different now.

Sorry to have to do this Bata, I'm going to have to retract my interest in this laser. The reason: I just saw pictures of it from Infinitus, and it is not the type of laser I need.

I didn't see Infinitus' edit at first which states this is not a SKYlasers' laser, but rather an "ASKY" Laser, and that makes all the difference.

As I told Infinitus in PM; I'm in need of a FDA approved green ~100mW as I give presentations on laser communications every month to various amateur radio clubs, and at the end of every event I give a laser safety and legality class (there's always tons of ppl interested). It's one thing to put up a print out of a FDA approved laser and say "this is what is legal" and it is another thing to have it in hand and pass it around (without the keys). I was hoping I could grab one of SKYlasers' current models (or similar) without having to fork over $30 just for shipping.

Thank you both very much for your time and hope the sale goes well. For anyone else just needing a green with no specific use, there shouldn't be any problem (especially with Infinitus playing middleman). Sorry to get your hopes up!
