Alright guys, all the sleds are packaged and ready to go. Extracting the sleds from the drives was very easy, and I was EXTREMELY careful when doing so. I was totally kidding about the beer part earlier :). I took my time and always made sure that my anti-static wristband was connected and that I was properly grounded. Each sled is now in it's own anti-static baggy, and individually wrapped in bubble wrap. I'll be shipping these out first thing tomorrow morning. Hopefully Dave will receive them by Tuesday.

BTW Dave, I wasn't kidding on the phone, it's gonna take you longer to unwrap these sleds than it is to harvest them :)

Here's a pic of the drives when I got them (The drives on the very top and bottom were not shipped that way, I just put them there for the pic)

And he did a good job too! I wish i could rep him, but it doesn't seem to work... :undecided:


In a couple of days Dave will have some work to do, 7 days after that a USPS Express envelope will arive, and, everyone here will start asking me "WHEN, WHEN, WHEN", and i'll stop sleeping and eating again... :yabbem:

In any case, i must say, this "mini-GB" is progressing rather nicelly... :yh:
