Igor, have you had a chance to look at those "F03" diodes yet? Or will they be plotted and killed when the LG diodes get there?

The weirdest thing just happened. I got the email from newegg saying they refunded the $240 (the amount I had to cover at original price) and put it in my PayPal account. So then I go to check my PayPal account, and it says I have a zero balance. The credit from newegg was indeed a credit, so they didn't charge me the $240 on accident. I'm just really confused.

PayPal is quick to take your money and slow to give it back. It is one of the ways they make money with your money. The longer they "hold onto it", the more interest they accrue. It's nice work if you can get it

EDIT: Unless you wanted to make sure that the weakest of the weak get sacrificed to the Lazor Gawdz, just in case one of those you're getting would be a low efficiency one?

I've never been "worried" about getting one, just anxious now that it is getting closer

I'll just hold onto those diodes then. I too believe that diodes pulled from working burners, will be more consistent than the diodes we get from "loose" sleds. I am hoping that we will see much less variance from these than we do from the 6X sleds.

It's just weird because I had a good amount already in there before the $240. But when the $240 was refunded, my account shows a balance of 0. And I haven't done any withdrawals or anything. I guess I'll give it a day or so to see if it gets fixed.

I still had Pyro's payment in my PayPal balance, so then with the $240 added from Newegg, I should have had close to $500 in there. I wonder if paypal automatically withdrew the money to my bank account, because that's were the extra money to cover Pyro and the $240 came from. I'll keep an eye on my accounts for the next couple days, hopefully it comes back

Umm, this is weird, as far as i know something like that can't just happen?!?
If i were you, i'd call PP support and ask them what is going on!

You can't just have balance, and then no balance, without any record of where it went!

Unfortunatelly i don't know exactly how PP works with banks, as it doesn't where i live, but still, usually there are records for EVERYTHING...

Check your PP history logs carefuly!

Ok I called them, and they said that until the refund from newegg goes through, that my total account balance is on hold. She said it'd be like 3-5 business days, and then my total balance will return.

I was really scared there for a second. So this really doesn't pose any problems, because the amount should be returned before Dave has to ship the sleds out.

I was a little worried there for a second. However, this is a weird thing of doing things?!? Every time i ried a payment and or refund, the change was immediate, and the balances were always correct... :thinking:

I'm not 100% sure what's going on, but she assured me that my entire balance will be restored within 3-5 business days.

BTW, I decided not to go to class today, so I can wait for the package!

Yea but if I'm not here to receive it, then I have to pick it up from them tomorrow morning, which would mean I wouldn't be able to ship them out to you till Monday. And the people want them now!
