488nm protera lasers Price drop again

OK so I have had these up for sale on the forum for a wile but since the thread is almost 2 years old and I decided to radically change the price I was told it would be OK to make an all new thread and close the old one.

I regret selling this so cheap but I really need the space and cash So here it goes. This Protera is head #2 from first thread it is doing 5mW shortly after turning on and I have seen it do 7mW.

These heads are unstable because TEC 2 which is actually the big one under the crystal diode block is dead. ( they cant be removed without destroying the laser Trust me several have died in the attempt) the crystal TEC is still good so as long as you have a stable room Temp you will get at least somewhat stable beam.
Here is an LPM test of it doing 5 mW

Edit In the picture it shows missing screws. This is because I opened it one last time to clean the OC and IR filter to give best output. the screws will be back in the head when the buyer buys it.

also the power supply will be missing a few screws Sorry They cam with like one or 2 per driver and i was only able to get a few to replace them. :shhh: no one wil notice xD

Yea but you have to provide your own 5 volt adapter.
also this is the unstable one I showed at SELEM.

Would be nice if you could provide an LPM graph for us to see how unstable it is.

Unfortunately my Kenometer does not work. and my new Gentec cant graph. Maybe ill see if Trevor can help me out next time he is in town.

I don't know when Trevor was over at the VA laser meet he tested the Ophire head and said it was spot on but my kenometer reads IIRC almost 200mW high and is really unstable.
