Here is a Thor 2 that takes 2-18350 cells it has a copper sleeve pressed in. Also a copper back half instead of aluminum. Custom focus knob in copper and lanyard strap. X Drive set to 1.8A with a g2 lens . Asking $150.00 shipped..

It's a nice rugged host. I see you pressed some copper into this one. Focus knob looks great. Nice choice of diode as well. Much nicer than the m140. Where is the driver hiding?

HI Dan,
The driver is in the bored out back half of the module. At 1.8A no need to sink the drive when its a X Drive Bucking. Going to machine my own back half in my builds. This build is a nice touch to the norm Thor 2 , bored out for 2-18350's

Bump! This one is sure unique. In case you missed it, it's been modded to take 2 18350's instead of the standard 16340....

Hi GSS,
Yes it takes 2-18350's for a boost in cycling , the 462 diode is an awesome WL i always liked. And there was plenty of meat on the tube for boring retaining a rigid form. The copper sleeve will also aid in heat sinking to. Thank you buddy for looking..and checking it out.

When I had a thor type laser two years ago, I drilled out one of the adapter lens so I could use it with the spiked look but not have the lens effect. It looked pretty cool.

Hi that sounds cool buddy I'm sure it was a great looking build. I wanted a little more to it with the copper pressed in sleeve and the bored out battery tube for larger cells. Price dropped $150.00 shipped

I've been using 16340 cells in my 501b laser. Can a 501b take 18350's? I'm assuming nearly the same length but the fatness of a 18650?

Yes, most lasers that take the 16340's can take 18350"s . As long as they fit in they will be fine.
