Blue is SPF to Daguin

PGL-III-C-473
Peaked: 46mW
stable at 20mW on original post date, didn't really swing, just fell lower and lower till 20mW, some days it falls under 20mW. Nice clean beam, but not a strong performer.

Blue laser has an estimated 10minutes total runtime on it.

PGL-III-C-473 /20 NOW $250 shipped CONUS money order / certified check / cash only. No paypal.

Includes the two keys and one power plug.

UPDATE 7-11-10: GREEN is SOLD to KingDave, Blue is still available.

I am putting up my two PGL-III-C's that I just got from GB9.

The PGL-III-C-532 is a 300mW unit and the 473nm is a 20mW. I just tested them (test results seem to vary by day) but here's what they gave me today..

PGL-III-C-532
Peak: 453mW
typical swing 320-430mW
If it ever does hover without swinging it seems to like the 370's.

PGL-III-C-532 /300 $395 shipped CONUS GREEN is SOLD to kingdave

Probably something like bryce007 experiences with his 250mW portable:

I don't know if Mik's line is as bad as that though, and if I remember right, that was a close up picture.

Mine is thin and very low intensity, and points to the left while you are holding the laser. I didn't try to take a picture yet, I assumed it might not come out good because the laser is so bright and the little bar is dim in comparison.

I am just burned out on lasers. I got rid of my enemy Canadian geese with the help of lasers, I've gotten to handle some really nice portables, now I go look for something new to capture my interest for a little while.

Re: PGL-III-C-532 + PGL-III-C-473 for sale

I'm guessing the bottom has fallen out of the 473 market. I spent US$ 650 on a CNI 473nm 50 mw in GB8. Lovely laser but I don't think anybody is going to be buying 473s again for a while, if ever.

473nm kick A$$. They are a nice shade of light blue. The beam is a nice sky blue color. 445nm laser may have a blue spot but the beam appears as as more of a purplish blue. 445nm lasers are cheap. They will flood the market like greens did. Good old 473nm lasers will still be here waiting for everyone to get their 445nm fix. There are a bunch of people who enjoy collecting every wavelength of handheld lasers available. But I agree that demand for 473nm has gone down. Regardless of the differences in wavelength.

Still for sale! Buy me.

This is the blue laser that is for sale, next to an 18mW green unfiltered. The blue 473 is an easily visible wavelength. Looks great outdoors at night even with the relatively low power level.

473nm definitely is beautiful. The only thing I'm dissatisfied with on the pointer I got from scopeguy's GB is that it uses a CR2 battery, and those things are terrible for charging, and relatively expensive to replace as alkalines. I tried replacing it with some I had around here (DX sent me some accidentally), and they were already dead! Argh!

Well in that case, I would suggest that you buy my PGL-III-C-473! It runs on 1x18650 cell that is sure to satisfy your runtime needs and is rechargeable to save you money over time. (I have the same issue with my Dilda style lasers.. decent lasers, crappy batteries).

Shame I haven't got a cent left after I blew all my cash on a new motherboard...

Re: 453mW green PGL-III-C-532 + 20mW PGL-III-C-473 for sale

Yeah, 473nm is an amazing color, and a collectors wavelength! The DPSS beam profile is far superior to diodes and is just a better color blue, almost close to teal. It is a collectors item, not just a cheap diode that is awesome but cheap. DPSS 473nm will always be sought after by us collectors and enthusiasts.

BTW my 20mW rated 473nm PGL-III-C came as a 55+mW that goes far beyond that:D
