I have up for sale my M140 Power-lite build.

If you would like extra details in the building process of this laser I have two threads that cover it pretty well. A burning video and 3 mode demonstration video is in the build threads.

http://laserpointerforums.com/f65/sharp-looking-3-mode-mini-pic-heavy-79016.html

Specs:
- M140 Diode
- 3 Mode Driver boosting 330ma on high, 120ma on low, and strobe
- Copper module and heat sink
- Acrylic lens (a 3 element glass lens can be substituted if preffered at no extra cost)
- GITD "After-Glow" Focus ring

I have thoroughly tested this build and it has proven to be very reliable, since I'm selling it I moved the module into a new host so you will get a mint condition host. This build is a great EDC that is a nice bright blue yet not overwhelmingly bright, that's not to say it isn't still very dangerous. I have set the lens and focus ring to be focused to infinity when it's flush, the diode is set slightly shallow into the module to help achieve this. The beam is easily visible at night and when focused it burns well.

The diode, module, and sink have been thoroughly secured with arctic alumina epoxy for excellent heat transfer and durability. The duty cycle is continuous and it lasts a long time on a fresh 14500 battery.

You can even see the beam some with the lights on.

Ty for looking.

It's an acrylic lens I received along with one of DTR's modules, and trust me I've mulled it over for while on which lens I liked best on this build and I did choose the acrylic lens. It runs flush when focused to infinity and the beam profile is good. Otherwise the three element lens sticks out beyond the host while the acrylic lens handles the power just fine.

I don't have an LPM so I technically can't give the exact mW output of this laser, but with seeing how this laser performs and reading other mW/ma data others have posted I would say it's about
250mW+ @ 330ma
100mW+ @ 120ma

Ty, the joys of copper :) I also should add, if anyone would rather have the three element glass lens instead of the acrylic I will substitute one with no price increase.

:bumpit:

The thing most people don't realize, is you don't really need all that much power from a laser.

Yes burning is fun, but do it a few times, and it gets old fast.

A laser that can run continuously though, is a lot of fun, and even 200mW of blue is PLENTY to produce a nice blue beam.

It's silly, but one of the things I enjoy doing most with my lasers, is just to place them flat on the table and illuminate the room from just the beam and reflection off of the ceiling:p

The current you have that little guy set on would last many many years. I would be surprised if it burned out before the host itself and the clicky completely wore out lol. Props on a rock solid little laser. Nice build.
