445nm Blue Laser Host

Hi, to begin with, I am fairly new on lpf, before I found this site I had ordered this 1W blue 445nm laser pointer. It arrived dead and I figured that the diode is broken. After opening it it seems to hard for me and after looking through here I have decided to build my own starter laser using a C6 host and not make it complicated. So I am trying to sell this to get some funds in order for my own build. This is from china you can see the pictures, everything that it comes with is in the pictures. The aluminum briefcase style case and batteries and charger and glasses can be included but shipping and cost would be more willing to take offers on just the host with keys the heat sink the module seems fine I dont know how to test it, so I will asume its dead. it comes with a lens I dont think its g1 or g2 please advise me if there is a way to tell. Probably just a 3 elemental one. Does the laser still have the driver and diode in it?

I have decided on an approximate price and updated the post after doing some more research on parts

Why would someone spend $80 for a non working 1W Laser when they can spend $90 on a perfectly functional 1W laser that also comes with Batteries??

this one has batteries and aluminum case, glasses, charger, and the shape and design is of a firedragon laser, not a basic c6, but still open to offers, and also functional c6 ones are not $90 they are around $130

Oh ok, forgot about that, but thats a c6 host, that is $11, I am pretty sure this host is worth more, and plus batteries charger the aluminum case, and glasses this has a heat sink in it, all it requires is a person with the right tools to extract the diode and install a new one in it, and maybe a new driver, it has lens already. Its selling on the link for almost $200. but again I am open to offers but not something too low

I was just pointing that out. I understand this is not the same host. You should unscrew the lens and take some pics. It could make the sale...







Edit: It does look like a multi element. What does the diode side of the lens look like?
