405nm Pointers for SALE - Adjustable output !!
Hi guys, I've been making some effort lately to build this 2nd. model that I would actually feel comfortable selling, and regaining some money back that I invested in lasers over the years.
So here it is. For now I purchased and fabricated parts to build my first batch of 5. Depending on how sales go, I will make more of course. I will be putting them on ebay very soon. For now two are for sale.
I want to give you advantage as forum members because if it wasn't for these laser forums, many of us including me would probably not know half about lasers that we do today.
It has unique on/off fade in switch !

This one is something a bit different.
On/Off switch is thumb rotating knob that gives slight diode fade-in effect and further protects it from possible harsh ONs. It can also serve to tune power down a for special uses. (NOTE: fader is not meant for full range linear fade-in/outs, however it can be nicely used to trim current down and have two, three or more lower output positions, for tests and comparison.
This pointer is powered by a common 9V battery that can be easily replaced without removing any screws. Simply press one spot by front, and pull the battery compartment to replace it with a fresh one.
It is protected against voltage and current surges/spikes, as well as against reverse polarity. Current supplied to diode is below 40mA (38mA in this case) to make sure life of this pointer will not be reduced in favor of beam power output.[/color]

This is my first sales attempt and I completely understand if there are any doubters. I plan on earning my reputation honestly and with time. If anyone doubts my honesty feel free to ask any questions you might have about this laser or me for that matter.

NOTE : These pictures were taken with slight incense smoke in the room and long exposure to enhance beam visibility. Humid weather and fog will greatly enhance the beam visibility as well. Anyone who claims 405 blueray low powered lasers will have bright visible beam even in dark is simply lying!
