u can take the 405 g1 modul that laser4u sells, and press it into the back of the aixiz modul so it will fit the heatsink. cheaper that way, and works the same

What are you talking about? If he already has a module with the 405-g-1 lens in it, there is no need for a regular Aixiz module, let alone combining two modules somehow.

Lenses don't get pressed into a module with a vice

Huh??

He is looking for a 405-g-1 lens in an aixiz module. NOT a diode, heatsink or any other part. Just an aixiz module with a 405-g1 lens already in it.

What are you refering to as a 405 g1 modul??

I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't understand what you are refering to.

There is a work around for this. The module will "press fit" inside the AixiZ module back. Cut off the rear of an AixiZ to length so it is open at both ends and the same length as the Lasers4you module. Use a little thermal paste and press the module into the shortened rear of the AixiZ. The AixiZ acts as an adapter "sleeve." It will now fit into any of Jay's heat sinks made for the AixiZ that you already may have.

The length is still a minor issue with this technique

Peace,
dave

Specifically what he is looking for is a G-1 that is threaded for an aixiz module. The laser he has already has an aixiz module in it. He has a G-1 and by what he told me it is in a nut threaded for a Meridith module if I took him correctly. And if this is the case I believe Jay can sell just the nut threaded for aixiz and he can just swap the actual glass out of the old nut into the new one.;)

OK...Let me see if I have a bead on this....

Is it a threaded lens holder with a 405-g-1 lens in it that will screw onto the front of an aixiz module somehow??

If not..then I give up:)
