All sold, thanks for looking! + 3 W Kryton Grooves!!
I have a new batch of 4 x 9 mm 445's customised Kryton Grooves! They all over 3 W. Below are a couple of pictures of similar groves in action from the last round!
They have all been upgraded with an X-Drive V7 ADJ/Con. GND (ie with pot) and are set at 2.4 A and use my copper (nordic gold) coin mod to improve heatsinking to the diode.
Here are some examples of GITD builds I have done previously, exact details of the GITD on the lasers is given in the inividual descriptions below.
The first pic shows the alternating blue and cyan GITD mix and the second all cyan, alternating blue/cyan and green.
I can also offer purple and red in addition to the colours above, please see my other FS thread for more info:
Laser 1 - 3.1 W
Kryton Groove - Direct press heatsink, clear anodized
Lazeerer X-Drive V7 (pot) 2.4 A, heatsinked.
GITD - Blue rings on head with all blue stripes on body
Battery config 2 x 16340 (IMRs recommended)
Tail cap current ca. 1.6 A
Recommended duty cycle: 1 min on/1.5 mins off
Sold
Laser 2 - 3.0 W
Kryton Groove - Direct press heatsink, clear anodized
Lazeerer X-Drive V7 (pot) 2.4 A, heatsinked.
GITD - Blue/cyan/blue with alternating blue and cyan stripes
Battery config 2 x 16340 (IMRs recommended)
Tail cap current ca. 1.6 A
Recommended duty cycle: 1 min on/1.5 mins off
Sold
Laser 3 - 3.2 W
Kryton Groove - Direct press heatsink, clear anodized
Lazeerer X-Drive V7 (pot) 2.4 A, heatsinked.
GITD - Blue/cyan/blue with alternating blue and cyan stripes
Battery config 2 x 16340 (IMRs recommended)
Recommended duty cycle: 1 min on/1.5 mins off
Tail cap current ca. 1.6 A
Sold
Laser 4 - 3.2 W
Kryton Groove - Direct press heatsink, clear anodized
Lazeerer X-Drive V7 (pot) 2.4 A, heatsinked.
GITD - Blue rings on head with all blue stripes on body
Battery config 2 x 16340 (IMRs recommended)
Recommended duty cycle: 1 min on/1.5 mins off
Tail cap current ca. 1.6 A
Sold
Notes: The duty cycle is mainly due to the heatsinked X-drive which must cool between cycles. At 1 min the head of the laser will be starting to get warm. I prefer to be careful with my diodes and therefore recommend shorter run times.
If you run on one 18650 the current and hence output power are considerably lower (around 250 mW). I actually used this method for the beam shots and after a few mins the lasers were not even warm. This means you can run them easily for + 5 mins without issue. Dont do this with 2 x LiIon!!
The blue GITD lasts for approx 8-10 hours and the cyan for approx. 10-12 hrs.
For those of you not aware of multimode diodes the output is bar shaped and very similar to the M140 diodes ie not a tight dot.
** Note to buy a completed laser you must be over 18 and own the correct pair of safety goggles for your chosen wavelength. Please feel free to PM me for further details. **
