Each label measures 18mm (wide) by 28mm (long).

postage is going to be something like £1-2 to the US

What type of paper is that? I might be interested in printing a sheet or two for myself, can't justify so much for shipping tho. :-[

Andy - they look like nice labels, and certainly fill a niche - folks in the U.S. can get sheets for $1 from Aixiz if they email them and are lucky enough to get an answer :p I know they will not sell them to folks that are overseas (so I have been told) but hte sheets have 30 labels, and are the "choose your own" wavelength and power labels that Aixiz uses on all its own modules.

Sounds to me like Andy needs to find a better place to get the raw stickers. The prices you ask on them are pretty steep :-/. Also, it may be useful to make some FDA-compliant ones for US customers.

they are very good quality labels, if you look on the for sale page on my site, they are foil labels. there are 48 labels per page.

i do sell proper labels on my site, but they are even more expensive! but no one has said they are expensive yet, people seem to say they are cheap?

Sorry, but I think you are. $10 for 48... so about 50 cents a label. I'm sure these labels cost other companies a few cents at the most (probably only a fraction of a cent). For 15 cents more I can get a lot of 65 cent red laser pointers, each of which have a label.

I'm not criticizing your prices if its really costing that dang much in supplies, but I really think you need to find a better supplier. Even if those labels used gold foil, they shouldn't cost anywhere near that much for the raw labels.

Yes, very steep :( Especially when 30 labels, FDA compliant are $1.25 shipped to us in the States. I DO understand that yours do look a lot nicer perhaps - but for something that is considered optional, rather than functional I personally cannot justify the pricing. That IS only my opinion, take it or leave it (seriously !) but I am certain that someone will want them - otherwise you can rest assured I would have PM'd you, and told you that there is no way you would sell them :)

Yeah, but still. Don't you think you're getting ripped off if you had to pay $10 for a piece of paper with some adhesive and foil? I buy rolls of aluminum foil from the 99 cent store..

They're your labels and you can charge whatever you want. What I'm contesting is not your labels, its the price of the raw materials. If you really are paying anywhere near $10 a sheet, I think YOU will gain by shopping around some, and your customers will benefit too. Its a win-win except for whoever is ripping you off on those sheets.
