I have another of these lasers available to a good home...

This laser uses a Romisen host and a copper sink for maximum heat disipation.  The laser diode is an long die open can from an LPC sled and is powered by a flexdrive 4.0 and 3.7V  14500Li-ion battery (included). The output beam can be focused by turning the lens nut.  High quality antireflection coated collimating lens is used. $140 shipped world wide with a charged battery.  Free repair to the laser should it ever need it:  parts costs only. I'm forever building and have several lasers so if you see something you like PM me..

No worries, the shipping was more than the lens :D

likeitbright,

1 - is this still up for grabs?

2 - what is 280 - 300mw output based on ?

3 - can i use 2 x cr123 batteries instead of 14500 ?

Yes, the original is gone but there is another now.

The output is measured on an accurate laser power meter

cr123 batteries don't fit this host. The module operates on a single li-ion battery so two cr123 would provide too much voltage. The 14500 is a very good battery with long run time and is included. I can build this laser as a special project to use two cr123 batteries if thats of interest.

Thanks, C - got them today  :)
I'm not surprised shipping costs more - you pack everything you mail in bullet-proof parcels  :o  :D

A +1 for "that little extra"  8-) and I'll be sure to round off the next purchase in your favor  ;)

P.S. To the community, do yourselves a favor and if he's got something on hand, don't let the opportunity pass you by!  His work and his support is really top notch [smiley=thumbup.gif]
