Okay so I have built some blu-rays, found one I like and have extras. They aren't as powerful or as professionally built as some of the other amazing blu-rays that I am starting to see on the forum so I am going to price them low.

First I have a 5mW blu-ray that uses a single AAA battery. This is the smallest laser I have ever built. It is tiny. The rubber on the tail cap clicky has been removed to prevent accidental depression. *SOLD*

I also have 2 Elly blu-ray lasers. They work great and run on a single AA battery. One is doing 18mW and the other is doing 20mW. *SOLD*

Finally I have an Ultrafire WF-501b flashlight that has been turned into a 15mW blu-ray. This laser takes 2 cr123a batteries.

how much are you taking for the elly 18mw?

where are you willing to ship?


and, what do you mean with "build not as professional as the forum's builds"? is there something wrong or are you just being too humble :p?

Me thinks he is too humble :) They look really nice - if I didn't already have a mess of diodes sitting here waiting to go into hosts, I would take you up on some of those....nice work :)

What is the lifetime of these lasers? 3000 hours? Interested in the 5Mw for my brother, and would the beam be visible with a 5Mw at night?

Sorry Brodi, but you aren't going to be able to see the beam of a 5mW Blu-ray at night. You need closer to 50mW to see the beam at night with moderate ambient light. City lights make it hard for me to see the beam on many of my lasers. As for the lifetime, it should last for a very very very long time. The 5mW laser is using the Phr-803 diode so it has much more potential. If you wanted to you could just open the laser up and remove the module. Then you could incorporate it into your own design with a much higher output (if that is what you desire) if anyone wants I could just remove the module from the housing and then you will have a harvested diode placed in a module with lead wires attached. Just a thought.

i bought the to mxdl br laser and its more than 20mw one is 30mw and the other is 40mw :)
