I do not have that laser anymore, I have a similar one that also turned out to be lower than 200mW, it was actually 94mW, I added a pic you can make an offer if you want,

What company did you buy these from? I think it would be good for forum members to know which company is the one they dont want to deal with here.

I found few people on aliexpress and then talked to them on skype and made the purchase via paypal, but once I told the seller its underpower we had a disagreement since he/she kept arguing that it is 200mW and I had readings from a laserbee a showing 94mW, and then the person ended up deleting me

+5 to their customer service... that's almost as bad as WL's used to be :crackup:

EDIT: also, I'm assuming this laser isn't IR filtered?

Hahaha that's the funniest thing I have heard all day!

I dont know what IR filter is and how to check, and as for the lasers goes I bought it out of aliexpress direct payment to the seller. Even though it turned out to be lowered powered the second laser only cost me $40 with it I got the box glasses and everything so even if its low powered and just sitting around I dont really mind, it was the other one, the one I originally posted that cost me $90 for which the seller offered me a $30 refund or full refund if I send back, but return shipping would cost me around ~$30 registered so I took the refund offer. Although these were not advertised correctly the service was not bad, at first the seller offered me refund thinking that it might be one defective one, but then when I got the second and checked its power the seller blamed me for being a fraud and a scammer. Honestly I dont blame them since they say that lpm are really expensive and they dont actually have one. Most of the small sellers have a common factory that tells them the incorrect information and rarely they encounter someone who has a lpm to actually check the power.

I might be interested in buying the 94mW for $30-35

I got taken by an Aliexpress vendor as well. I feel your pain. They really bent me over.....NEVER again from Ali.

Though I did get a descent 1.1watt 445nm Laser from them a while back. right at 100Bucks.

I actually buy quite a bit from aliexpress, they are not all up to power but still decent as opposed to building one since I dont have too much experience, I can only build simple 445nm ones, things I got from aliexpress are:
"1000mW green laser"- for $30, actual power 147mW
"1000mW red lasers"- for $32, $28, $22 actual powers were 256mW, 240mW, 280mW (same order of price and power)
"1000mW blue laser"- for $100 actual power was 1280mW (found it to be a good deal posted a groupbuy for it maybe)
On aliexpress there are many sellers that exaggerate the power, like 10W blue or 5W green which is clearly a lie
