This new entry level Power Meter is named the LaserBee™ A for Analog....

It is a very small 3-1/2 Digital Display Non-Data Logging LPM.
( 2.5" X 4" X 1.5" )

It features additional circuitry that enables True Zeroing by way of the
Zeroing control on the exterior of enclosure and dual rail circuitry that
other similar hobbyists LPMs don't offer.

There is room inside the enclosure to easily install our DL3-Module to
turn it into a Data Logging LPM which can read higher powers than
the on board 3-1/2 Digital Display.
Our DL3-Module™will be discounted at $59.99Cnd when purchasing it
at the same time as the LaserBee™ A. Contact us prior to placing your
order for availability of the DL2 module.

It is to be noted that the DL3-Module™ is to be installed by the buyer.
You can read up on the latest DL3-Module™ here....

You can also use the Open Source ARG data logging project. Contact
ARG for details.

The LaserBee™ A uses our same large 2.5W rated Thermopile and
mechanically stable Radiator as used on all our other LaserBee™ LPM
products. The 3-1/2 digit LED display only reads to 2 watts.

The entry level LaserBee™ A runs off a single standard 9volt battery
and draws a mere 30mA... Lower that any other entry level LPM offered
on the Forum.

It also uses an LDO regulator on the PCB to ensure stable readings
even if battery voltages sag or change with use.

We have 10 of these latest Generation Laserbee™ A LPMs to offer to
LPF members at a time limited Sale price of $139.99 USD .
They are in stock and ready to ship.

Re: 2 Week only SALE... 10pc LaserBee A for $139.99USD + S/H

This is a great deal for someone looking for an entry level LPM! I have personally owned and used a Laserbee A and found it to be a high quality product that gives accurate readings, as I checked mine against a Scientech 365 LPM and calorimeter and found the difference to be negligible. Additionally, if you desire to add data logging on this LPM, you can message ARG and see if he is still offering the service.

Good luck on your sale, LaserBee!

Re: 2 Week only SALE... 10pc LaserBee A for $139.99USD + S/H

Whats the accuracy at 0 to 100mW. Im trying to find a low power LPM and my Ophir head really isnt suited to that.

Re: 2 Week only SALE... 10pc LaserBee A for $139.99USD + S/H

Nice pricing. The Laserbee A has great support from both the manufacturer and community. Whoever needs a LPM is getting a great deal. Grab one before they're gone!

Re: 2 Week only SALE... 10pc LaserBee A for $139.99USD + S/H

Greetings,

That is a great offer Jerry !
Anyone needing a modest LPM would be more than crazy to pass this one. This was the first model LPM I started with and until I got the 3.7w USB I have now I used to use a filter to test my lasers >2w and do a little math to get power output.
A great first LPM imho...

cheers,
Moe

Re: 2 Week only SALE... 10pc LaserBee A for $139.99USD + S/H

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen....

I thought it was time to do a bargain basement sale.

@wannaburnstuff...
In the 1st Post I make mention of our DL3-Module that
can be added to provide Data Logging to the LaserBee A
and it comes with our EagleEye datta logging software.

I also mention that ARG can also be contacted for his
version a data logging ad-on.

@ Speedy78
It is within a mW or 2 below 100mW but it is an entry level
LPM and the response time is slower than your OPHIR head.
BTW our 5W LaserBee that uses the same OPHIR head is very
accurate between 0 and 100mW. Maybe it's not the head
that is causing your problems..

@madmacmo... done...;)

Greetings,

Not much time left to pick up on one of these excellent LPM's and at the price offered they are a steal !
It is a great unit to start with and if you have a filter to use that reduces the power you can use it to test lasers over 2w. Just do a little math and should be very close.
This was the first LPM I got and used to use a filter that only allows 20% of the lasers power to pass through. Again a little math and you can get a close enough for government work result.

Much longer and either they will all be gone or the deadline will arrive....get'em while you can !!

cheers,
Moe
