The blue kit includes, The host, a rechargeable CR123A battery (unused) an aixiz acrylic module, The matching heatsink and the attached lanyard. This kit has already had the led emitter removed.

The silver kit includes all of the same components except the lens in the module however the module with the focus ring is included....You will need to buy a lens to focus whatever laser diode you incorporate.

(these kits do not contain any laser diodes. The only drivers contained in this kit are the stock drivers for the flashlights)

Just to clarify, are these the ones Mohrenberg was going to sell, then decided that it would be a bit difficult?

Yes, these are one in the same. I have build probably a good 50 of these into red lasers. the problem I encountered was on about 20% of them the twist on/off connection would malfunction and cause the laser to stay on. I have not experienced this problem with either of these hosts.

Mohrenberg did sell these kits, I'm not sure if these are his exact ones.

but the builds are possible, just tricky, and not the best kit for a red build, probably best for a PHR or 4/6/8x BR build.

Awesome hosts, I run my PHR build in this host and heatsink made by Moh, and it doesnt even seem to get warm after countless minutes used at a time.

I have built a lot of reds with this host. Never a violet though.

Oh, well that's good. Ive only seen violets. I'll try use my kits to build a red :)

I have one left over :) from an international purchase that would of cost too much to send the box with it.

This is the box i'm talking about....and another one of these kits made into a laser.
