$125 shipped to the US

img0209wz.jpg

Batteries and charger are included
Safety glasses also included

img0204si.jpg

The batteries are a little fat for the charger,
the rubber bands make it easier to get them to stay in when charging.

Duty Cycle is 60 on 60 off,

LPM with 3 element lens (Included)

Note: the dip at 15 seconds is a glitch with my LPM, it is not the laser

LPM with G1 (Not included, avalible from DTR or jayrob)

Nice laser! Great price, too, especially for that power! I'll be surprised if you haven't sold this by next week. Good luck!

Very nice laser and very nice price also !
How many Amps are you giving to the diode ?

I will buy ,
But can u give me some pictures of that ? Its Burning good ?:) Good Beam ?
And what inculed in the package ?
I Need Some lens , Saftey goggles , And charger + battery ..

He has already posted everything you require in your laser, You'll have to send him a PM to discuss the deal.

Only looking to sell the USA right now,
don't want to deal with internation shipping if I don't have to.

thanks

Re: 1W 445 in C6 Host

So it's doing 1,040mW @ 1.6A? Yikes.
I imagine it gets pretty hot pretty quickly

1 Min on / 1 Min off is the duty cycle

The output power doesn't play a very large role in how hot a laser will get.
An efficient diode would get say 1.6W output at 1.6A with a 3 element,

1.6A*7.4V is 12W total power
An efficient diode would have 10.4W of heat
This one has 10.9W of heat
Thats only a 5% difference

That's interesting. I have noticed that the diodes that put out only 500mW at 1.2A get really friggen hot quickly and die young. I'm referring to the "duds" that you will find in some projectors. This is by no means a dud or anything like that. I just figured the inefficient diodes would behave the same. But I guess I assumed incorrectly.

Well I’m not an expert, but I would think that "duds" actually have something wrong with them, optically or otherwise, and that would explain why they die young too.

wow thats a really low output for 1.6A what driver are you using?

Re: 1W 445 in C6 Host

Its a mohgasm driver.

Also, price lowered to 140 shipped.

If a efficient diode and a non efficient diode had the same Voltage at 1.6A wouldn't there be a massive change in efficiency?

Power In

Vin x Iin = Pin

1.6A x 7.4V = 11.84W

Efficiency

Power out / Power In x 100

Non efficient Diode
1.041W / 11.84W x 100 = 8.79%

Efficient Diode
1.600W / 11.84W x 100 = 13.51%

13.51/8.79 = 153.69%

So wouldn't that mean that the efficient diode is 53.69% more efficient?

Yeah, this one is a dud... and yes, the DIODE itself gets a lot hotter a lot faster if it's a dud. You were calculating driver input, not driver output and comparing it with the diode output.

Where?

I was comparing diode in and diode out.

the 7.4V is what justinjja brought in, i just used it cause i could lol should be ~4.5V :D

There are efficient diodes and dudes. Sometimes you ran into them. Nothing to be done about it. Just build a good laser around it and sell it for a honest price.
The diode are also hotter in use. They transfer more energy into heat than into light.

LoL love how you call dud's dude's like:
