The old wicked lasers 15mW greens looked like that and they came in a box like that. That picture would make me think it is not a viper, but I can say that the wicked labels did not look like that, but labels can be changed. I would recommend once again that a buyer got this checked by a middleman first, but if it checks out it will be an awesome laser. You just can't beat these CNI green pointers.

You can see that box in some videos made by dragonlasers on youtube
So i think it's really DL Viper.

The box underneath is most defiantly NOT a dragon lasers box, it is a wicked lasers box (a broke one at that.) I only have about 10 of the damn things.

I agree, because when i got my CNI 150 it came in a white box with a strafoam cut out of the laser, and not only since dragon lasers distributes CNI, but you can even check unboxings of vipers on youtube, they look nothing like the box in his picture.

I thought I may have had it in the wrong box especially after watching a couple of videos.
Well, right box or not, I know where I got and I know what I paid for it. I will be posting more pics and some video as well. Oh, the reason I'm selling it...
I don't really know why I bought it in the first place. Its not something I need at the moment. These days I could use the money for something else,

Rickemshoff, thought i'd be a nice guy and move this over for you.
You accidently posted it in the "FS-IGORT build bluray 191mW" sales thread today @ 08:20 PM

The box does look like a wicked Lasers Box but I'm pretty sure I've never owned one. I will take another picture of the box because it doesn't have the Wicked Logo. It is in fact a Viper V160 that I personally bought from Dragon for $449.00 plus S$H. The box in the video looks very familiar as a matter of fact I saw it around here a while back. I think I may have thrown away the original box thinking that for close to 500 bucks they could have at least sprang for the deluxe model. I know what, the proof is in the pudding. I have a video camera and I'm not afraid to show you guys that this is the real deal.

The laser in the video did not have a warning label (not good) and you can see the one at their site clearly does.
Viper Series 160mW Green Laser Pointer :: Green Laser Pointer ----- 532nm Laser ----- Viper Series Lasers :: Handheld Lasers :: Dragon Lasers

My laser is identical down to the casing, brass, button place and type, and they really should put more info on the unit itself, at least the manufacturer if not the model (I would have).

I will be posting more pics and this time video.

I would be skeptical too

Sorry Rick, but until you can verify it's true output you're not going to get even close to what you paid for it, not while nowadays you can get one of about the same power for about a quarter of the price.

It seems to me that if you are truthful then you bought the laser a long time ago, and lasers depreciate considerably over time.

More pictures or a video may help but they don't prove anything. You'll have to forgive us but there have been way too many scammers and con-artists on this forum for us to accept the old "oh yeah it's the wrong box" or the "no I don't have the instructions or certification" routine. We've seen it all too many times.

Thank you Xplorer877 I will verify it, in the works.
Here are some more pics to show a closer view and that the box does not say "Wicked".
I understand until I can verify its output I'm probably not going to sell it.
I got it about a year ago if anyone was interested in when it was purchased and I think I got it just because IT WAS SO DARN NEAT. It is pretty sweet when your friend is playing around with his laser pointer and you say "Hey you wanna see something cool?" Heck I didn't even know there were that many people into the cool stuff until just recently when I found this forum.

I would just want to recoup as much as I can. I'm not here to scam anyone or sell it for more than what its worth.

If I was trying to get one over on someone I definitely picked the wrong place to do it and I think I would have gone running scared after the first few comments.

Rick

Rofl

They do label them wrong sometimes (wicked would put 140mW stickers on fusions, 125mW stickers on nexuses etc.)

My bet is that is a wicked lasers nexus.

If you want to sell it you need to put a price. Once you find an interested party you'll send it to a third party who will test it. If it gets anywhere near 160mW the buyer sends you the money and the third party sends the laser to the buyer.

That is the only way I would ever consider buying this laser

anyone noticed that the laser has curved clip which it was no longer produced by CNI when dragonlasers released the 160mW viper?
