FEATURES:
* Small & compact design; 3.2" x 1.5" x 0.9" (almost as small as an AA battery)
* Bright 405nm 15mW Nichia blue-violet laser
* Momentary ON push button plus an ON/OFF toggle switch
* Replaceable AA protected Li-ion rechargeable battery (included)
* ~7 hour run time before recharge

* 24/7 operation through USB power (or any 5 volt source)
* Low profile (easy in and out of pocket with no snags)
* Easy one hand operation
* Protective fluorescing lens cap
* Reverse voltage & current regulated protections
* Focusable lens for near or far to a pinpoint dot
* Lower price, higher quality, & better protection than the larger models
* Amazing effects

New feature for V3!! Self contained USB recharging circuit with included Li-ion (Lithium-ion) rechargeable battery and USB cable. When the internal AA rechargeable battery drains, it's as easy as plugging the provided USB cable into the laser then into any USB port and the charging begins. A cell phone charger can be used as long as it has a mini USB connector, 5 volts, and >100ma of current. An internal red LED lights while charging, and turns off when complete. This design has 2 protection methods for the Li-ion battery. The internal charging circuit and the battery both contain a protection so the battery does not over charge above 4.2 volts and over discharge below 2.5 volts to ensure a long life. This Li-ion battery has no memory effect, so it doesn't matter if it's charged partially or charged fully and can be recharged hundreds of times. A regular 1.5 volt AA alkaline battery can be used, but the run time will suffer. A rechargeable NiMH can be used, but the run time will suffer too. It's recommended to use the provided Li-ion battery for optimum performance. Whichever battery you choose the output power will be the same until the battery is drained, i.e. it won't get dimmer with use. The internal recharging circuit should ONLY be used with Li-ion batteries. This battery is capable of 4.2 volts maximum, while a regular AA battery has only 1.5 volts. Do not use this battery in any other device which requires a standard AA, you will most likely damage your device.

Have some more up on eBay.
http://search.ebay.com/ws/search/SaleSearch?sasl=bandtled

Never have to worry about batteries again. Can be used constantly for hours on end without having to power it off, 7 hours straight or can be powered 24/7 through the 5 volt mini USB connector. No need to worry about 5 or 10 minute "run times" either.

Or if you want to purchase through the forum, check the price above. Worldwide shipping dropped to $6.

Yes. I tryed it and it doesn't work. I think that Razako did it with 473nm. The wavelenght is too long with a green laser. I don't know why, but I bett that you can find out via google or wikipedia. Search for "fluorescence" or something :).

I'd think it's cause the blue-violet is so close to ultra-violet that it's almost like a black light. And you know how GITD reacts to black light. So basically having a black light focused to a pin point you can essentially "draw" on material. Heh, what else should I draw? ;D

You can see the beam in a dark room if you're near it, like a few feet away. It's faint, but it's there. You move it around and you can see the beam move too. Especially when you're looking down or up the beam. You shouldn't be fooled by pictures of blu-ray beams in daylight. It'll take quite a bit of power to make a blue-violet beam visible in the day, unlike green. Maybe one of those really expensive blu-ray burners will do the trick, but since I've never seen one, I wouldn't know.
