How do you know how many mW the lasers are putting out? Do you have a power meter?

now i do not have a meter, but i have watched many laser vids, like on youtube, and it can burn faster than a 150mw Red diy, so its around that range.

Re: 150mW red burner sale 45$

You can't just guess the power of a laser by looking at it. Especially if you're trying to compare it to a video, you don't know what kind of diode the person who took the video was using, most people on youtube just guess the output so you can't use that as a reference, and you don't know how collimated the dot was when that person was burning stuff with the laser. There are just too many factors that can not give you an accurate idea of what the power of your laser is.

If you don't know the lasers' power, then you at least need to give more info on it. On your first post all you say is that you have a 160mW custom made laser that hasn't been used a lot, you don't even mention if it's a box style, pen style, or a flashlight style laser. Sure, you did post the video review and the other info is in your sig, but if you want someone to buy your stuff you need to describe the product completely on your post, people won't realize the laser is a box style since they won't see your sig nor the video review.

Give more details like what kind of diode the laser is using, is it a SenKat diode? Is it an open can diode? If it's an open can is it a short or long dye open can? What current is the diode being driven at? Which driver is it using? A DDL driver? An AMC7135 driver? Some other kind of driver? What kind of batteries does the laser use? (if you give all this info we might get an idea of how many mW the laser is putting out.) And also give a link to the video review you posted.

You need to give more info if you want to sell your stuff, I'm not trying to be bitchy about it, I'm just trying to give you a few tips to help you out. :)
If you don't know all that info, then send a pm to rubberband and ask him to give it to you.

I KNOW nobody asked for my opinion on this, but I gotta throw in my $.02 (U.S.)....
I completely agree with Chido on this matter - you need to kinda tell folks (like me) that don't want to click links WHAT it is you are selling ! Oh, and if you wanted to sell it BONA FIDE, and guaranteed, then send it to someone with a power meter, so your prospective buyers will know what they are getting ! I wouldn't touch an untested laser with a 10 foot pole - you can focus down 50mw or so and make a burner out of it with very little problems - so you need to PROVE that it puts out 150mw, or put in your main description that you have no idea what it is outputting. Otherwise, it is lies - plain and simple. Don't deceive members on this forum or any other forum, EVERYONE will make you regret it !
