silver dx host has a modified rkcstr driver at 170ma and produces >140mw(peaks ~155mw) uses 2x rcr123a 3.6v batteries. asking 135$ shipped insured

Looks like the rayovac has an adjustable focus i'm I right

They probably both do. When you put a diode into a module, Aixiz or otherwise, they come WITH a focusing lens & ring. rob

Has any one ever built a laser in one of the rayovac host that style is it aluminum.

iv built one and its very thin im not sure if its aluminum though, but they are easy to build the axiz modual fits perfect in side

the rayovacs are made from aluminum and are focusable b/c it has an aixiz module as the diode mount.
