Yea, I was only interested in the drivers. The laser and hosts/batteries/heatsink are still up for grabs, I believe. ;)

Stole it from the cookie jar in your kitchen while you were sleeping. Also helped myself to a cookie.

Thats funny, he acts like he anodized it. DarkHorse is the one that did it for me. He did amazing work. I sold it to Udanis cheap too.

Ah...those were not cookies.

I really like that purple host. I missed it the last time it was up for sale and this time I'm flat broke, otherwise I would take it in a moment. :(

Although I would have maybe put a 405 in it instead of a 445. :p

That was the plan originally but after much frustration just tossed a 445nm in here. The groove drops out of regulation with 2 lithium cells, it drops out with 3 lithium cells (even heatsinked) the micro-boost should be called the micro flasher because with 3 AAA batteries at 600mA it only holds current for 3 seconds before it starts flashing. I don't know what kind of corners Dr. Lava has cut with his latest production but his drivers have really taken a steep fall downhill. I'd rather run a laser directly off batteries. You basically have a 1V window to be in otherwise you need a copper block the size of a soda can to heatsink his drivers.
Anyway out of frustration I foolishly hooked my 12X up to a 800mA driver and my diode went poof. : (
I am now searching for a cheap alternative to drive 12X diodes and I am pretty sure I've found one. I ordered 10 and will test them out on my little guinee pig 12X backup.

That's good to know now that I bought those grooves and microboosts from you. Lol. :na:
