Hello, and welcome to my sale thread.
Hosts are ready, but due to some unfortunate standings i have lost my partner so my production will be a max of 2-5 units a day.
These can range in power levels from 250mw to 1.5W.
There are 3 styles to chose from.
1. Black open air cooled host (power:1,500mw) 235$ (price change due to new batteries does not affect any already placed orders.)
2. Black open air cooled host (power from 250mw to 1,000mw) 200$
3. Silver cone tipped. (power from 250mw to 1,000mw) 180$
These are all driven by 2 cr123a 3.7v battery's.
The lasers will come with 4 battery's and 1 charger.
They also use an aixiz 445nm coated lens.
!Shipping is free within the us!
Shipping out of us will be an extra 20$ for tracked shipping.
I have to ship with tracking due to charge backs and other problems.
Some new pictures.

Legal sale info below.

* the infamous star...
These lasers will come as closely to assembled as possible but due to legal reasons they wont be just insert battery and call it done. You will be sent a host, batteries, charger and a heatsink assembly.
Inside the heatsink assembly will be the laser and driver, all you have to do is drop it in and screw the host together and you have a laser.
Also note inside the host there will be a object blocking the insert path with a label waring you about the use and FDA regulations. This requires you to mod product for function.
However you will need no tools or soldering to do any of this. everything is just remove, drop and go.
This is to protect myself from any legal recourse of your use with my lasers.
As they are being sold in their current state.
These lasers are in no way laser pointers or should be used as laser pointers these are sold as is and to be used and implemented into FDA regulated devices.
Any other use of this product is not sanctioned.
If you live outside of the FDA regulations, Enjoy the freedom you have but same rules will apply to you.
Dont use these in any dangerous fashion.

All lasers will be tested on a lpm prior to sale. i can even try for extra money to get you the one with the brightest beam.

... 800 x 600 pixels not 1024 x 768 pixels so I, and others, don't have to go scrolling to see them.

Thanks,

:)

Re: WIP Selling high powered 445nm Lasers!

NO! no small pics for you!
Sure i will update them in a bit. your lucky i was going to upload some huge 4.5mb pics that would have blown your mind err i mean screen.
But seriously what resolution are you people running at? most people run 1024 by 768 or higher. i dont know to many people running any lower...
I also plan on retaking the pics with a real camera as those are taken with my web cam. Not to shabby for a web cam.

Re: WIP Selling high powered 445nm Lasers!

Interested in getting a lab laser soon so....interested.
I just figured out what these pointy heatsinks (and some others i've seen recently) remind me of....
The X-Ray machines on the telescoping arms at the dentists office.

Re: WIP Selling high powered 445nm Lasers!

my lab laser is able to handle a 2w 445nm laser.
It keeps it nice and cool.
These are not some cheap bolt and super glue. these are held together with artic thermal epoxy. and set in 2in x2in 1.5in block of aluminum. And i had to upgrade the fan from a standard vga cooler to a projector nmb fan very fast. very cool.
It also uses the TEC from the projectors as well so its very good. i can even supply you with a simple driver all you need to do is feed the whole thing 12V and it runs!
I even made a car adapter!
Dont ask my why. it just seemed like a great idea and it was i gave it a 12ft cord and can point at starts all night. BTW the first time i used it was for over 3hr and i killed my car battery.

Thats epic! Including the part about the dead battery lol

Here is a pic of a sandblasted host.

If you like it can be done to any host.
Its 5$ extra to do it,

Re: WIP Selling high powered 445nm Lasers!

Is it possible to get the logo removed from the silver ones?

Re: WIP Selling high powered 445nm Lasers!

On the units that will be set to 1.5A are you thinking abut sinking the driver to the host body so they don't overheat in 15 seconds? That is if you are using a flexdrive. If so have you thought about how to get a flat surface to do so? The little half moon looking sinks that I used in my last build worked real good and would fit in most hosts.

Re: WIP Selling high powered 445nm Lasers!

the ones at 1.5 will have their own heatsink. seperate from the laser and should be aroind .75in dia by about .6in long and it will have some thermal paste to help it transfer heat into the host.
