Nope, I've been ordering M140 diodes from DTR to satisfy orders until my projector arrives. Nice little upgrade at no additional cost to you guys who have bought one in the last week.

I'm incredibly interested in this whole switchable laser idea. I'd love to know more about that and/or how to add such a function into other builds

You must be referring to the different modes. This is achieved from a chip on the driver. All you need is a driver that has modes. Easy as that.

They ship out as they are ordered within a day to 3 days. They are always shipping out.

Yes, Yours uses the M140 diode also. It is shipping today or tomorrow.

Give me a break. I need 8 hours to sleep! I replied to my messages at 2AM last night and then again at 10AM this morning. I am never away from LPF for more than the time it takes to sleep. Everyone has received a reply from me. Next time give it at least 12 hrs before you post that you can't seem to find me. It makes it sounds as if I took your money and ran which is so far from the truth.

Understood... Actually had a nightmare about it last night where the kids started playing with it...I'll need to treat it the same as my guns! Still, should be a fun 'toy' (since its not really a tool..for me anyways).

Treat it exactly like a gun. Except it travels faster then a bullet. And the best way to keep the laser from turning on in your children's hands is to hide the batteries.
the idea of getting shined in the eye by a 1.2watt laser freaks me out so much. and i don't easily get perturbed like that. Imagine the lawsuit for blinding someone. :0

Anyone know what the polarity of the diode is? Bought one for friend and he screwed the front off and broke the wires. If the unused pin is to the right, then is positive the top or bottom? TY
