Guys it has been a WHILE since I post on this forum, but one thing let to another and it brought me back. I bought a XJ-A140 projector 2 months ago for "home theater" purpose got to love the 20,000hr lamp life, but now my wife wants to upgrade to a HD projector. I was going to sell this projector on ebay but while searching I found out about the laser diodes inside etc. I own a 40 watt laser engraver and and some 50mw and 100mw green laser and a 200mw red laser (good old deal extreme days) and now I can have a few blue laser too.

I talked to my wife about keeping 4 diodes for me and sell the other 20 and she gave me the ok as long I get enough money to buy the new projector. (she paid for the projector, she is the boss on it) :)

I already have the projector with me, 43 hours of use, I have a lot of experience with electronics and ESD safety etc.

DIODES HAVE BEEN REMOVED and are ready to ship.

1 DIODES LEFT

I have (1) 445nm Laser Diode diodes LEFT
$30 shipped USA
$45 shipped International

FIRST person to ask for my paypal info gets them

For international shipping I will only use PRIORITY MAIL due to the fact that takes to long to arrive using other methods and packages get lost and we are both protected with paypal.

Feedback upon request

$37 for A diodes, from a USED projector is a tad much.

Wile it's understandable you may not want to go lower (and you don't have to), you may find that that they just won't sell on here at that price.

No problem, for those who wants them I have them, I will put them on ebay too, 42 hours is nothing when you compare that they are ment to be used for more than 20,000 hours.

No biggie :D

Re: (20) 445nm Laser Diode "Casio XJ-A140"

I just put them on ebay too, I'm still cheaper than everyone on ebay and I have them for $40.00 there. Here I have them for $35.00 BUT I will lower them to $32 each plus shipping to forum members, lower than that I will be loosing a lot of money and not worth the trouble.

Please edit the company name out of your post title. They do not like us using their diodes for dangerous lasers, so it creates legal issues for the forum if they get mentioned here.

Re: (20) 445nm Laser Diode "Casio XJ-A140"

Ok that is going the right way ;) how did you extract them? And did you test the output after extracting to be sure there are no dead or zombie ones in there?

Do you have any interest in selling the LED?

Greetings,,

They are very easy to extract, all was done on my ESD mat the proper way, as for testing them, they were tested minutes before removing them other than that no more testing was done after removing them, they were removed today.

Yes most of those sellers on ebay are betting that people will not know the difference between A140's and M140's. And some even say there is no difference like this one which is pretty dishonest unless he is completely oblivious to the testing that has been done.

445nm 2Watt Laser Diode and Lens from Casio XJ-A140 all ESD precautions taken! | eBay

Anyway for eBay that is a better price than any of the others. You should be able to move them out.

I'm been sincere on my auction, people who buy this diodes KNOW what they are buying, A140 diodes are still 1watt so they are not bad.

Re: (20) 445nm Laser Diode 1-2 watts

Hmmm, I really didn't think $37 was crazy high or anything and I think $35 was certainly fair. Your current price is very attractive. The fact that it is slightly used shouldn't detract from the value at all considering the low hours. With a $720 price tag the diodes cost $30 and then you have shipping, paypal fees, packaging supplies, and maybe the cost of a dud factored in. Those who complained about your price need to re-evaluate their opinions based on cost calculations rather than comparisons with current M140 diode prices from DTR. That is my opinion anyhow.
