WOW! that is some nice hardware there!!! I am hoping that that nice blue focusing ring will be included on the SL-II



Not trying to be nosy either but in the following picture the heat-sink looks different then your other copper sink, is this a picture of the SL-II and newly designed sink???

Yeah I noticed the bevel on it as well the other night when I was looking at the images on facebook. Those heat sinks sealed the deal for me getting one of the 405's and 650/660 when I can. (And the red one is available)

I just received my 1-1.3w in the mail put it together in prox 2min, put some Artic silver between the module and the heat sink and it works like a charm.

Of course i saw like most of you the video's of people burning tape, cd boxes and popping balloons, these lasers looked pretty strong to noob like me.

And indeed this laser burns at a instant faster than i expected.

i will post a review of it later on, thanks Gary

Greeting to all this is my first post so please be gentle with me :D. I would love to buy one of these lasers I was wondering if you ship to the UK? and if you can post without the mention of laser on the package? You see here in the UK we are all treated like irresponsible idiots by the powers that be, they say we can't own devices like this no matter how old or responsible you might be. I have a couple of green lasers 1mw + 50 mw but I could do with one with more power. Look forward to your reply and the possibility of a new toy, thanks in advance, Ray

Hi Ray, welcome to the forum. :) Yes we ship to the UK. Since the product is sold unassembled I don't have any problems with customs. And there is no mention of lasers on the package, just a description of the basic components.
