Just a note to our customers, I will be out of town on a business trip from Thursday through Monday (5/19-5/23), so any orders received during that time will likely ship next Tuesday or Wednesday.

I just received my Laserbee 2.5w meter and measured my Garoq 455nm laser against some other lasers I had around the house.

Garoq's measured 1.09w with RCR123, so well within the range of advertised power.

Random green pointer measured 9-10mw for a 5mw pointer

Budgetgadget's 200mw green laser measured ~114mw using RCR123.

All measurements were taken at approximately 6" from the sensor. Batteries were not freshly charged, so there may be more there if I used fresher cells.

It's interesting how much the diodes vary in efficiency from one to the other. Also the maximum output is highly dependent on the ambient temperature.

Ah received my laser today. It's really good, easily focusable, though warms up really fast compared to the arctic.

I've did some quick burns to see which burns faster and the Survival Laser burns it slightly faster.

Comparing brightness, they both look exactly alike.

The Survival Laser is about 1/3rd the size of the Arctic Spyder III which is really impressive :)

I noticed that I can see the SL beam in the air in the photos but not the Arctic's. :D
