i would be quite interested in this laser as well. excellent price and excellent reviews :O couldnt ask for more. need to get a few finances figured out but im probably going to order one

One more question. Does the battery extension tube increase the capability of the diode to 1.3W or will it perform to 1.3W as is?

The battery extension tube increases the total run time between charges, not the output power.

This reminds me of the rocketry business where customers want white flame, blue flame, red flame, black smoke, sparks with white smoke, sparks with black smoke, green flame, fast propellant, slow propellant, etc. I'm not kidding! :D

I have not actively pursued rocketry but have done a bit of googling and youtubing of it, there’re a lot of propellant recipes out there, some so seemingly potent and easy it’s scary. The BIG rockets are F'ing mad, then the bigger liquid propellant rockets, drool.. Wanted to attend a local BIG rocket launch Sep. 2010 but weather scrubbed the planed event.

How's the 2W v2 looking now and what do you think pricing will be?

You mentioned you own a rocketry buisness? I assume you are a member of either NAR or TRA (or both, lol). I am REALLY into rocketry as well, and have flown rockets (mostly from Aerotech, some from CTI) on all of those grains. I am currently L2 certified and will probabally wait a bit before I go for L3 for monetary reasons.

Things are looking good, still waiting on a couple of parts for fit checks before ordering production quantities. SL II will have a different heat sink, diode module, driver and focusing nut. Retail price for the complete bundle in the mid-$400 range. Specs not fully established yet but we're looking at 1,800mW +/-100mW with a standard lens and 2W +/- 100mW with the G-1.

:bowdown:WOW! That is so awesome! :cool: Lol, I just got my L2 for NAR a few weeks ago on an Aerotech J-350 Whitesmoke. Put it in my newly built Loc Precision Warlock. That is sooo sweet!

Good to hear the SL-II is moving along!!! Seems like a reasonable price for it.

Ill be ready when the SL-II is ready if you want, you can put me down for a SL-II with the G-1 lens.:whistle::whistle:

I can prepay or partial prepay via pay-pal as well!!!:D

Oh and BTW very impressive Bio on AreoTech Gary!!! We all appreciate your innovations for sure!!
