I did a quick search and found this
DealExtreme: $16.12 Aurora SH0030 Cree XPE WC-Q5 5-Mode 194-Lumen LED Flashlight with Extension Tube
and it looks pretty similar but not exactly, The head is different but the body looks almost the same, Maybe buying this and adding the extension tube to the kit would work? IF anyone tries this let me know and I might invest in one.

Unfortunately this host is about 1/4" smaller in diameter than the C6.

Unfortunately different diameters, different threads. A custom piece would have to be machined, I would be interested to know if there would be a reasonable demand for it.

Same here, while my driver is gone Im going to check the hardware store and see if there are any fittings that will work with the threads on either end.

OK, I'm going to sweeten this deal a little bit.
For $55 I will include the Survival Laser holster (a $10 retail value) AND an AixiZ laser warning label with the 1,100mW 445nm DIY laser host assembly.
In addition, I have started applying some hot melt glue to the holes where the driver wires exit the pill. This creates some strain relief for the wires and allows a little rougher handling during assembly.
I currently have 7 of these in stock and available for immediate shipment.
The previous $50 host ass'y deal is still available without the holster and label, and will also have the strain relief applied to the driver wires.
Shipping for both is the same at $3 to the continental U.S. Please PM if you are interested. Thanks!

Really glad to see warning labels being provided, many people have used this same host for many lasers and without labels it can be hard to tell the 5mw red from the 1.25w blue without turning em on.
