Is that a focusing ring on the front? Does it include a charger? What's the duty cycle and battery life?

You use your pinky nail instead of grabbing a Screw

those nails are also called "soldering nails" ..... mean, when you have to solder some small and short wires, keeping them in place at a pair of millimeters from the soldering point, and you have only your fingers for do this, you will end to appreciate that all these burned marks ends on your nail, instead than on your fingertip (yowch) .....

Yeah I use this thing as a tool. I actually have one on both hands. It comes in handy everyday. My lady also loves it when I scratch her back or head with it.

Yes that is the standard aixiz focus ring. I do not even have a charger for myself at the moment so I will not be including one with this sale sorry. Duty cycle as mentioned above is 30 on/off. That does not mean 30 seconds on then momentary off followed by 30 on again. That means 30 seconds on followed by 30 seconds off. I am unsure of battery run times. I have not tested this.

These are powered by 2 CR123A batteries. You can also use 1 18650 battery but the current regulation will cut out and the laser will only be half as powerful (in many cases it may not meet the threshold and won't laze at all. The driver is a buck driver current regulated with an input voltage range of 3-18V.Take a look in the driver "drivers for 445nm" threadfor more details. The driver runs nice and smooth with 2 CR123A batteries. I have tested it with lower voltages and the driver will not properly regulate with a single 18650..power will be around half. I have not tested with voltages above 8.4.

You should make these with copper heatsinks.. aluminium seems a little cheap for ~1,25A..

I think these are made for short duty cycles.
Anyway, I donīt run my lasers for more than 20-30sec except for doing photos or vids.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will consider it for future builds. These lasers are operating perfectly fine with the aluminum heatsinks so I do not see it as a necessity. It is also a matter of personal preference. I prefer the silver look VS the copper.
edit: these can run for much longer that 20 seconds. I recommend 45 second duty cycles.
