As far as I know, the host is only available in black right now.
You now have a choice of either an aluminum heatsink or a copper one. :eg:

Here are some power output plots for two different yob 445nm builds using three different batteries. One LD is obviously more effecient than the other outputting 1.3 Watts compared to 1.0 Watt. Then I tested output with two different 18650 batteries. The 3000mAh battery appears to be better than the 3600mAh battery. I have not tested internal resistance of these batteries yet but would guess that the 3000 has much less than the 3600. Yob's builds hardly get warm at low power with the 18650s. A nice option to having full power all the time.

445 yob 1W w UltraFire 18650 3.7V 3000mAh 183mW peak
445 yob 1W w UltraFire 18650 3.7V 3600mAh 127mW peak

The beam is not as "fat" or "intense" as it is at full power. It is easily visible against dark backgrounds in indoor lighting and the focused dot looks more "point like". The beam is comparable to a 100mW 532nm green beam outside in the dark. I may begin using this as a star pointer to better preserve night vision.

I ordered one of these as a b-day present to myself haha. 100mw green comparison you say? Man I can't for mine to get here. And the 445nm is pretty much my fav color.
