Try this once...

When it's snowing at night take the laser and wave it back and forth making a triangle. If you record this with a video camera and invert the video it looks like a Christmas tree!

Well I have tried burning now that my goggles came in (eagle pair from ebay) they are very nice but due to a loose fit, some light can get in the sides, I don't think it's much of an issue, but worth mentioning.

After countless failed fire starting attempts of all kinds of paper. I was beginning to think that this laser couldn't start fires (my particular one). So I decided to call it quits and charge the batteries. Well the next morning while just lighting some matches for fun, I was able to start a fire finally. It was a combination of fresh batteries (about the first 15 minutes of the battery usage would burn) and the technique of keeping the light on the embers which I'm still trying to perfect.

I took a video of me lighting a match end (not match head). Please don't post this anywhere or hotlink to it. This video is for LPF ONLY. Feel free to download and view it how you please.

Sorry if this has been asked b4, there's 34 pages!
.....since it doesn't run on 2 x 18650's does that also mean it doesn't run on 2 x 16340's?

If you mean 2-16340 batteries, or in other terms, 2-3.6V CR123As, that is exactly what these bad boys operate on for 30 to 60 minutes of beautiful blue!

I am interested in getting a unit. Could I pay cash? I do not have a credit card.
