This laser owns. Bottom line. If you want a cheap yet amazing laser. This is it.
Though the lense does have a bit of a wobble. But apparently this can be fixed with a bit of Teflon tape or a spring.
Question though, can i charge these 3.6v cr123 with the charger that came with my dilda? it charges 3 volt batts this size. CRs? idr what they are.

A 3V charger will not charge a 3.6V battery fully.
A 3.6V charger will make a 3V battery explode in a cloud of burning Lithium, you know, the stuff you should not put water on.

Mine arrived yesterday. Fast shipping and lots of power in that little unit. It measured more that 1230 mW on my LPM. I'll be doing more careful measurements in the coming days, but I'm pretty impressed.

Second that, has anybody tested this laser with a 18650 battery on a LPM ?
I did a comparison with a 200mW red and a 200mW green. This laser looks a little brighter but i doubt it is in the range 500-600mW.

Mine arrived today. 6 days after my order, and I live in Europe... Didn't expect it so soon =)
The beam is incredibly bright and beautiful.
However, the nature of the wavelength makes the dot look a bit blurry and it melts a bit with the beam after around 1 mile, so it's hard to see the dot on objects far away (with MY eyes that is, not sure about others) Beam is visible in cloudy daylight.
The beam is really visible for people 2 miles away with and angle around 30 degrees to 0 of where the spectactor stands.
For the burning capabilities, I haven't tried that much, setting fire to paper is like impossible because the paper just kinda dissolves into ash right away.

Overall I'm really satisfied, and happy about owning this laser, I'd definitely recommend this one to others that want a 445nm laser.

I just got my laser yesterday and have just been getting used to it. Yesterday my LPM reading with the supplied batteries was around 1240+ mW. Today, with different focus, different temperatures and different setup for the LPM, I get around 1150 mW with the supplied batteries and around 224 mW for a 18650. I'll need to work more to understand the inconsistency of the readings, but I think that gives you an idea of the relative difference between battery types with this laser.

Maybe I ran the batteries down a bit this morning. I was out in the yard burning newly fallen leaves with the laser. :crackup:
