This is what he meant to say (I'm pretty sure anyway):

yes it's true cameras never get it right. Unless they cost $15,000.00 (reffering to the cost of a 473nm in diode form) the LD in my new ear ring laser is a PHR it is 405nm and no I didn't have to rip up my BR player I bought the diode from Scopeguy20 here on the forum. you have a fine day ! Pyr
I'm rather sure he was referring to the price of a good camera that would display the color properly :p

WOW ,,, it looks like 473nm blue laser pointer , is that right ?
Do you take out your DVD to make this "blue laser technology dvd laser pointer" ???

And It is hard to use camera to take the light beam , but you get it !!!

MR. CHEN!!??

Its Jay Caruso! You will love this forum!

Yes I ment a professional video camera.

@ igorT post# 31 my I ask what you are refering to when you said you put a 6X in the same host running @ 200ma with a 10000 series battery do you know how much it sounds like your talking about my host in this thread !

I guess we'll find out when pyro is on next. :fightin:

LOL

I don't understand, Pyro, i'm not selling these, i made them for myself!

And the reason i found this was because after talking to you i found your thread, and realized we are using the SAME HOST!

I didn't want anyone to think i copied your work, you can ask Jayrob when he machined mine.... :undecided:

I can share with you how to get a 10280 and a driver in here, if you want to put a 6x in! I have no interest in selling them, i'm giving mine away to some people i owe favors to!

Again, sorry if i did something wrong, i just wanted to make sure you would understand i didn't copy your work!!!

Wait, is this a FS thread?!?!?

Shit, maybe i should have slept a few hours over the past few days, i feel like i'm going INSANE!
I was so obsessed with the 8x MURDER idea that i've been up for several nights in a row! I haven't slept normally in over a week!

I did NOT want to plug my own builds FOR SALE in your thread!
I just went looking for your posts after i saw the same host hanging from your nose in our recent conversations...

Please, Pyro, if you want me to remove my posts, you just have to say so!
I just thought it was funny, that we both used the same flashlight for our ideas. :yabbem:

There is something wrong with my head, i only now realized what i did here! What i should have done is post my own thread instead! :cryyy:

I haven't done that in WAY too long, i keep posting things in one and the same thread....
I should just go to bed and hope that you can forgive me for what i just did... I just wanted to be your friend, Pyro... :undecided:

I'm sorry, please understand, that i did not do this with any bad intentions!

It's not a FS thread Igor, he was just showing his build.

Very nice little build by the way...

Dude You need to go to bed you arn't making sense any more. the host you are talking about and the one I used are two different host ! go to bed NOW ! besides it wasn't hanging from my nose that was a bugger....

and I didn't say anything but since you brought it up, if you didn't want to plug your builds FOR SALE in my thread then why did you ?

if it seems to you like you shouldn't have done that then why should I have to ask you to remove them, shouldn't they just go away !

I think if your trying to sell something maby you should start your own thread about it then people will have a place to look for it ! :)

Peace All...

it looks realy close to that, it's 1.724' long x .375" dia and uses 3 LR-44 cells. what cell did you manage to cram in there after machining out the case. and where can I get one of them cell's, Thanks Jay !

Is yours even smaller than the ones shown here?
http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/fs-110mw-phr-140mw-4x-170mw-6x-blu-rays-22567-80.html#post575582

If so, that thing must be Micro! The ones that I made, and also the ones that I machined for Igor, took 3 button cells for the stock supply... (before we modified them for bigger batteries)

There, i removed my offending posts, and i hope all is well between us, Pyro, and that we can be friends?

Otherwise, i have that EXACT host you used, with holes around the head.
It has the exact same length as the ones i sent to Jayrob for some machining.

Jayrob's idea was to use an 10180 cell from AW at CPF...
My idea was to drill out the tailcap in an even smaller host that Kenom used for his Teenie laser...
A customer of mine did the machining on that one, and we managed to cram a longer cell inside, one called a 10280 again from AW on CPF...

Before that Jayrob used an 10220 IIRC, after i told him about drilling out the tailcaps, he found a way to get an 10280 in his micro-host as well!
That's when i sent him my hosts for machining to get the same battery inside.

If i am not mistaken, Jayrob also sold me his 10180 and 10220 cells, and then after his machining, i too found a way to get an 10280 into my micro-hosts..

I think it is the same host that Igor used then, because it took 3 X LR-44 cells too...

The drilled out tail cap modification will make the Key Chain build that I showed fit a 10280 battery. (200mAh) I have a 'freak' efficiency 6X in mine with a 405-G-1 and it is putting out 268mW's!

The art of getting the FlexDrive in there is shown in great detail here:

http://laserpointerforums.com/f38/215mw-6x-key-chain-blu-ray-flexdrive-20124.html

Then Igor sent me a couple of different Key Chain hosts to machine for him. (shown in that link I posted in my last post)

One of which, I believe is the same as your host. It's tail cap only allowed about 5 or 6mm of drilling. (I could go 10mm with mine)

But Igor somehow managed to still get a 10280 battery in it! He had to do some kind of lever type of activation modification for the button switch. (but for that particular host, I think a 10220 will be a better fit)

The batteries are from AW. He shows 'out of stock', but I believe you can still get them if you message him. Also, Lighthound has them in stock I believe:

AW's LiIon Batteries Sales Thread *Part 8* - CPFMarketPlace

Welcome to Lighthound, Inc. - Fenix Flashlights, Cree Q5 LED, Lithium Batteries, Lithium Ion Batteries, Li-Ion Chargers, Leatherman Multitools, Spyderco Knives and more!

Scroll down the rather long first post in my thread and see that I built three different ones with the host I used, and I posted some good information on battery current draw using FlexDrives with the different diodes and the 10280 batteries...

Yep, Jayrob laid out the ground work with his Keychain hosts and 10180 batteries that have the length of three coin cells..

I thought i'd have to use a lever-type button, but i managed to do it on a micro-PCB, with only a slightly shifted button that still works with the hosts original button...

Otherwise, Jay, i never shipped you the host with the holes around the head, until just now - and even now, only to cut it to pieces to machine another host without touching the new one - cos the one with holes around the head has a more "roomy" head interior with a weak head to AixiZ contact..

I once made a 5mW red cat-chaser out of the one with holes around the head.. I actually recall wrapping the AixiZ in insulation tape to make it fit (and to insulate it electrically at the same time)...

The ones i did send to you in the end had more massive heads, which is why i liked them for higher power diodes...

Well, like (i think) i already explained, i just kinda started following you around after our recent conversations...

I was looking specifically for this thread, to be precise... I wanted to show you, that i used the same host as well, only with a different head....

But they are not for sale! I am giving them away at parts-cost to people i owe favors to.

Again, i apologize for not thinking straight.

I should have posted MULTIPLE of my own threads by now... :yabbem:
I've done so much work, but i only ever post it in one and the same thread... :undecided:

I got a few hours of sleep last night, and i'm starting to feel sane again.

Once again, sorry, it was my mistake!
