That's pretty cool actually. If I ever do a diy blu ray I'm doing that. I will also make a 500mW Core and call it the...

...hardCore. ;D

I'm working on it. The insides are totally hollow and there isn't even any place to mount the button. If you ahve a choice, the kenom barrels are much better made, easier to use, and more solid. But if you want the blu-ray logo the sonar case is the only game in town.

is it a pain trying to fit the whole module in these?
this is the only thing i like from wickedlasers, the sonar case
for $50 its not too bad i spose.

So for about $150 you can build one that performs and looks exactly like the Sonar, which costs $1700.

or for $400 or so you can make a 100mw that exceeds anything that they are capable of (to date)

Hi i have done a WL case i found it very easy to do .
I sold on ebay for $400 and it was a good one i had abit of a freak laser in it because it was doing 60mw by my laser check meter so was very happy with the out come .

I will be making two more up soon with WL cases but these ones will be better because they will have a better driver and will do over a 100mw of blu-ray light because i got two 100mw diodes laying around so will do project in the next few weeks.

I do have pictures of the WL case pointer i done if you would like me to post them ?.

Looks nice, but the price does seem rather steep for an empty case. You'd probably be better off getting Kenom's barrel and having someone etch or engrave the BR logo.
