Hey Guys,
I just had a question that I couldn't find on the forum: Will laser shields for a 445nm 1w laser still protect from 405nm 200mw violet/purple light? I need to know if I have to buy two different sets.
Thanks!:D

Generally they should. Goggles are good for a specific wavelength. For example these are good for 190nm - 550nm www.rayfoss.com

It all depends what type they are and what there range is. A link to yours would help.

Don't take our word for it, look at the specifications. Some are made with very narrow bands of protection, even though you'd think it'd cover the side-bands.
