I was at a collectible antique show today and found a new fluorescer. Its called Uranium oxide glass. It is used with about 2% uranium oxide by weight. It has a light green slightly opaque hue to it. The sellers called it by the disgusting name "Vaseline glass" because the way light makes a shimmer just under the surface. With the bluray or a black light like they all had it really lights up!

It already has a green hue but with the uv it lights up. You can buy uranium oxide glass "marbles" for $10 a piece. Cheaper to buy an old piece of vaseline glass.

Wow, there is an antique market near me. Might walk in with the 803T in my pocket. You know, check it out before you buy!

This vendor at the show was selling an LED pen, for glass collectors, that shone in the UV range for $5. I bought one. You can barely see the light and have to hold it right up to the object to see the flouresence of the glass. It is an extremely cheap chinese thing with "invisible" ink pen inside.
