Is there 405nm violet laser good picture ?

Hello , i try to take picture of the 405nm laser beam at night , but it is unsuccessful , and when my digital camera take picture to 405nm laser dot , it seems more blue than my eyes feeling . :(
Is there an good idea to take it ?
And i notice this sub-category seems seldom topic relate to 405nm ,,,

yea the camera shows it as blue but we all know its violet
what mw are you using on that laser

probably not without some digital post-processing. it's difficult for a camera to capture its true color.

My webcam does the same ..... the better one shows it as blue, says 450/460 nm or similar, the "crazy colors" one, shows 405nm as "aquamarine" 490 nm light blue, LOL

You need to spend a bit more time reading. PS3, DT0811, AW115, PHR, SF210, 4X, 6X, 8X, and some others are ALL 405nm diodes.
