Last night, I finally completed the first steps in my 803 build and got it lasing on about 115ma. My pot is busted and going past this, the pot goes haywire. Need to get a replacement.
At the moment it is set up on my desk, using a breadboard and mains psu. When I manage to get my mini driver working (and some decent batteries), I will finally have my laser portable.
Just a thank you to all the guys who contribute here :bowdown:, without you, I would have to light matches the boring way :evil:.
I have been reading these forums for months before ordering the parts off Drew, and then getting the bottle to try it.
Cant believe how cool the beam looks. Everyone is right, pictures just dont do them justice.
Just need to finish my LOC, then start saving for a 4x or higher!

. I would really suggest if you want more power do a 6x rather than a 4x. My PHR is putting out more power then a 4x and the diode cost me $10. Hope you enjoy your stay here, I am really glad to see new members like you.
