Hey,
I was browsing through this forum, and came upon a site called LaserPenShop.com
I found a pretty good deal (specifically, this one 200mw 405nm Blue Violet Purple Laser Pointer Pen with Five Heads), and I wanted to know if it was legitimate or not. I've searched the forums and online, and haven't found anything that makes them seem bad, but since this forum seems to be a good authority on lasers, I'd like to ask your opinion.
Is this site trusted? If not, why?

Thanks everyone!

Nope, they have absolutely no reputation here. Go elsewhere.

EDIT: I'm intrigued (in the sense that I'm "curious") about this:
http://www.laserpenshop.com/High-Powered-Lasers/lgr135s.html

They're probably full of crap, but what caught my attention is that it's titled:
"1000mw 1W Waterproof Adjustable Focus Green Laser Pointer Flashlight"

Yet they later say:
"The real ouput power of this waterproof laser pointer is 800-950mw."
and
"We always want to make sure you get each mw output you pay for."

That doesn't guarantee anything, but it does suggest that they're at least conscious of the fact that whatever they're reselling cannot be taken for face value. I've *stupidly* rolled dice on high powered "cheap greens" twice. The first was from DHGate, and it ended in disappointment. The second, was with that first 300mW FireDragon from DD that spawned a really good resource of affordable 300mW+ greens.

I'm considering rolling the dice a third time. Best two out of three?

It strikes me that although they spammed us, nobody seems to have purchased and LPM'd their lasers yet.

It's a huge gigantic risk, but I thought REALLY poorly of DinoDirect before taking a chance on that first 300mW 532. It was right after their new-years shenanigans, and I don't think most people were willing to trust them with $3, let along $150 for that first FireDragon I ordered.

This is sketch sauce for sure, but I'm weirdly curious.

Wow, thanks for all the fast replies!
Since I'm on this topic, and looking for a strong violet laser, the thread underneath this one (http://laserpointerforums.com/f38/new-200mw-blue-violet-laser-69532.html) was posted by a member who got three lasers from bestofferbuy.com, and I looked at this laser of theirs
Slim 200mW Blue Laser Flashlight (2 x CR2) [E54234] : Electronic Gadgets, Home Gifts & Unusual Novelty Gifts - BestOfferBuy

Does anyone know anything about this site?
Thanks again!

If you're interested in a strong violet, take a look at these:

You need good laser safety glasses.

They are Trustfull, but sucks! I have the "Boss" friend on Facebook.

Go with Lazerer, LasersMan, O-like & Jetlasers

What the heck is with people using this "trustful" word all of a sudden.

It's a really f-ing stupid thing to say, because "trustful" means you have a pre-disposition to trust other people, it does not mean you are trustworthy yourself.

Lazerer is calling themselves "trustful". What they're saying is "we generally trust other people". That's great of course, but I'm pretty sure that's not what they really want to convey. Every time I read that, I laugh my arse off.
