SEXIFY blu-ray Aixis RKCSTR anyone?

I want to buy the blu-ray aixis rckstr module from hightechdeals.com and power it to 9v but i dont want to use the mdxl host, its just not to my taste at all. does anyone know of a good host? im looking for something slimmer, hopefully something i can use to fit 3 CR2 batteries in. I also want to use one of Dark Horse's heatsinks, or any other suitable heatsink.

Has anyone else used this housing?  Can anyone suggest a winning combo, other than mdxl? surely it's not my only option!

EDIT: has anyone had experience with a superfire g90 torch? it's powered by 3x CR123A batteries. but i don't know how it turns on? is it a twisty one? how do i mount the aixis? sorry for my amateurism, but this is doing my nut in. surely someone else has built a blu-ray laser without MDXL using this pre-built module. It won't let me post links btw, being a noob.

I've learned rather quickly around here that you should probably do a search on the things you need before posting. But, seeing as I'm new to posting here too, it's really easy to get caught up in the excitement.

most laser diodes in a module wind up looking just like the module/diode you are looking at on HTD. The difference being is that you don't see a heatsink already on it. usually in a DIY laser build I've noticed that people put a heatsink in the head of the host and mount the module/diode inside the heatsink and run power from the batteries in the back of the host to the module. usually this makes things fit together nicely and gets rid of heat rather quickly.

I think your talking about getting a host and just mounting the module inside and just being ready to go. I'm not too sure on how all that works but i am sure you can't do that with most. seeing as most modules are tiny compared to the pictures you see on the forum and websites.

There are plenty of resources out there for figuring out which host you would most like to use. a suggestion is that you get a host that fits 3 or 4 cr123 batteries (if you get a 4 cr123 host be sure to get a DUMMY CELL so you get the electrical power you want). also make sure that the batteries you use are protected lithium batteries as those seem to be the best and the safest.

if I still didn't help out too much try and do a search for what you want or use your imagination. the sky is the limit with most of this stuff these guys do here. lol.

We do not make heatsinks for the MXDLs, nor will we as that is done to perfection by Jayrob, I would contact him for anything to do with MXDLs.
We do offer some smaller-hosts, such as the classic DJR, (Dorcy Jr) with the full-body heatsink, **they will be back in stock next week** and the "Sliver-host" which is even smaller, (a 1xAA-size). Each of these hosts require a "boost-driver" as they only contain a single 14500 lithium-battery, although a couple of my customers have built them using a Rkstr-driver with (2) "AA-1/2 sized batteries., very clever!
We also make custom heatsinks for whatever host you choose, and custom anodizing now too.

The style im looking for is something like the ultrafire (or was it superfire?) G90 as a host. maybe a g-12. i understand it's not a simple mattter of mounting everything and voila, but i cant find a good general guide to attach the switch, trimming the bore for the module, etc. The module and diode are no problem as they will be built already. i have experience harvesting diodes but these blu-ray ones are precious and i want it already mounted from hightechdeals.com.

Dark horse, LOVE your work, do you know if i can currently get a heatsink to fit the g90? i like the look of some of your hosts, and the exposed heatsink to the front, i want a similar design but with the g90 if possible. hope you can picture it
