about 100 $$$


i´ve read that the olike br-lasers produce "violent heat" and i want my pointer to live as long as possible.

maybe u have other suggestions?

Are you wanting to buy a diode, module, housing, battery, and driver seperately and build your own or are you looking to buy one from a company?

I think www.0-like.com--Ê×Ò³ is your best bet... They have a 150mW blue ray laser pen for 95.99... but remember, the smaller the case it is in, the shorter you should have it on at a time. But none the less, if your spending $100 dollars on a laser, you're going to get a great product. You've probably heard about how easily lasers can die, but you should have no problem with what you buy... O-like.com and rayfoss.com are great companies...

yeah i´ve already seen the o-like pen but i also read that they easily become very hot!
is there an alternative? the rayfoss waterproof br looks quit good hm

rayfoss and O-like are about the same. Could you tell me where did you read that the O-like pointers become so hot?

Also, I recommend you to buy a homemade unit from a member here on laserpointerforums. Better quality diodes and better service. (and usually better price too).

but u are true, nobody mentioned that the o-like pen easily become VERY hot. maybe i read it somewhere else.
is the red or the blu-ray beam more visible?

Buy from Mohrenberg. He has a GGW build for $110 (about 200mW) and a SWF build for $85 (about 150mW)
