Nice build bro, hey I just thought I'd mention I had one of the brc ultra fire bats red one just like that, start venting in one off my hosts and I herd and saw nothing untill I picked the stanless host up and burnt my fingers, it was as hot as a well I don't now so hot I through it out the bedroom against the wall all I could do was cover it in case it didn't explode anyway lost a A140 diode, I'm not sure why it happened.

Thanks Billy. Wow that is strange, my guess is that it shorted the batteries somehow at the battery contact board or driver, or had defective batteries. Your lucky it didn't explode, I have heard of Ecigs and flashlights exploding, fortunately no one has had a laser explode yet as far as I know. See this thread:

Great build, lots of clear pics too.
I like the look of those focus adaptors survival sells, I was going to get a handful of them...until I saw they were 10 dollars each. Yikes.

Yes I really like them, easy to reach and you won't burn your fingers, the lens caps also fit them, I live in a dusty environment so I always keep a lens cap on all of my lasers and I haven't ruined a lens yet by burning dust onto it. Those focus rings come in six different colors, what's an extra $10 in the price of a laser to make it perfect.

Hi Pi, Nice work as usual kudos to you Pal. as for the focus adapters , don't discard the focus rings when you get a module. i Super glue two or three together an make my own, they come out awesome and i use a colored paint marker to give them a blast. Really try it they come out great. And you won't be spending 10 bucks for the others once you tried it. I buy the bag full from AixiZ and go to town.

Rich:)
