OK guy just got done testing out and taking some pictures of my PL-405nm from the Laserbtb/syklaser group buy ran by offroad. when i know offroad was doing another group buy it was a no brainier that i had to get involved again, because the laser one was great and he did a great job running it and make sure everyone was take care of.

So i decided to go with the PL-405 as in the last group buy no one bought the PL just the HL and for the little extra money I thought to my self why not. I can tell you I'm grad i did because it's a great laser. It has a nice weight to it and its big but not to big and in my opinion its an all around better host then the HL. But enough talking about it because I'm sure you guys just want to see some picture and watch me meter it, so here you go. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks for that awillis! I'm really looking forward to the HL405-500mW! I bought one as well though mine hasn't shipped yet.

Really nice laser and it's Over-spec by +100mw? Nice :D
Photo #5 (In-door beam shot) I love the beam In that photo. very wide & bright/visible.

I was the only other one to get the PL405 and with new fully charged IMR's it tested at 667mw.
The HL405 tested at 734mw.
Very nice units.
The PL host feels very substantial in the hand in comparison to the HL.

Nice review. The PL405 laser is way overspec. I like that.
And the PL host is indeed very substantial. I need a much bigger case case to hold all the PL lasers :)

thanks guys. photo number 6 was with some fog, notice how ridiculously bright the LED is on the PL.

Put an collimation lens in front and you have a second blue laser. :)

i turned it on for the first time to make sure it worked and didn't have my glasses on and thought it had reflected and hit me in the eye. but i didn't have anything near me that could have reflected the beam.

Laser = 600mW+

Power on LED = 1.56W :crackup:

Not going to lie if told you I saw the LED beam before the laser beam!
