It says its waterproof, though it looks it, it also has rubber rings.
I cant figure out how to focus it
Rayfoss
Is the one i bought
It also looks very dim i heard this is normal for 405nm

What kind of distance should i expect from this 50mw?

EDIT: The person that emailed me back said to focus you screw the top cap, that makes it non--waterproof. It also only un-focuses it.

Is there anyway to focus the beam at further distances to make it a small dot?

For some reason my camera when i hit the button, it focuses correctly but before it stops it unfocuses and make it blurry, EVERYTIME!(yes im using macro settings)
I have a coolpix l18 i dont know what to do.

When cameras wont focus for me I usually try to focus on a different object (usually the watch on my wrist) and then I keep that focus held and move it back to the object that wasn't cooperating and take the picture.

@ Milkman, there is a simple solution for your problem. I checked the specs of ur camera, the closest point it can focus on is about 15 cm away from the object.
Take it to about 15cm away and then use the optical zoom to get a bit closer. That's the only way to do it for you.
The "macro" setting dosn't allow you to focus on stuff closer than 15cm, but it will make the camera search for the closest object and then focus on that (if possible).

Hope that helped you a bit.

Edit: Sorry, saw I just pretty much *bumped* the thread.
