Question of XboX 360 HD-DVD diode power

Hi to all.
My friend has a hd-dvd unit of the xbox 360, he has broked it and he has give to me it.
There is someone that know the power in mw of the BR diode in hd-dvd of the Xbox 360?
I want make a driver circuit for this diode.

it depends on which diode is inside that particular drive. When you open it up find the number on the sled. If it says PHR-803T it is the more powerful diode that can go to about 120mW or maybe more. If it says DT-0811 or something like that then it is the weaker diode. There is a graph on the first page of the 'XBOX 360 HD-DVD high power laser' thread I think that shows you the power for a given current.
