Tip:
When not in use, remove the batts.

The Nano's microprocessor enables dual operating modes: Continuous and Momentary.

agreed... never keep the batteries in host when not in use. sadly I had to learn the hard way many years ago...

If you ask CNI they can pretty much put any wavelength you want into a handheld.

I recently asked CNI if they could make a 510nm PGL for example & was quoted $600/USD which ain't too bad!

Oh, I didn't know that. I bet some of those wavelengths will be really extravagant!

How many mW for the 510nm though (I suppose 5mW...)? Is it that different from the 520nm diodes? I mean, is it really worth it? I suppose it's closer to cyan but still...

Yep 5mW's. I'm not exactly sure how different they would be from 520nm diodes but after seeing a few threads with members showing off a 510nm diode there is a visible color difference :)

honestly pictures and videos wont do it justice, that is a wavelength that is best seen in person.

Do yo think they'll do a 490nm handheld/pen? I'd never be able to afford it at this age, but it would be nice knowing :p

Not sure. Even though some wavelengths are pretty easy, just simple diodes, they won't do them for whatever reason. CNI only offers 488 & 491 :)

My focus right now is on completing the "green spectrum". CNI said they could to the following in a PGL host:
510/520/532/561

I already have 520 and 532 so im almost there

-Alex

Yeah, only a few hundred bucks off :p

Last I checked, aryntha had bought a 561nm one in 2010 and it costed $845... You're only missing two, but they are the most expensive ones! Better start saving!

I don't know how much the price has dropped, but it should definitely still be in the hundreds...

I would like to edit my previous post.

CNI will offer a 510nm 5mW PGL-III-A for only $280 USD! Im shocked :D
